Lauren will be the Intimacy Coordinator on Dog Sees God by Bert V. Royal this summer at The Hudson Theatre in L.A. June 7th-23rd 2024.

Directed by Ryan Warren

Synopsis: When CB's dog dies, he begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any coherent speculation; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's torment, offers CB a peace of mind and means to rebel against his predictable, doormat personality.

Somerton Man, written by Justin Witwick (https://www.justinwitwick.com/)

A new true crime musical will be performed at The Green Room 42, on January 14th at 1PM.

Synopsis: In this true crime musical, Thomas Keane is an American CIA spy, covering as a Ballerina, sent to Australia for reconnaissance on Soviet Agents following WWII. The young and unsuspecting Russian agent, Jestyn is in Australia on her own mission from her husband/superior Aleksei. The two cross paths and a potential romance buds. However, over a confrontation, things escalate and many things remain a mystery, but one thing is clear; Thomas is dead. This is where our local Australian police force comes in. Detective Thompson is trying to keep order in a wiley district while being underfunded, understaffed, and comes face to face with addiction. The two staff on hand, Officer Wilson and Officer Clutterbuck could not be more opposite. Wilson is a fierce young woman trying to make a name for herself while Clutterbuck was grandfathered into the force and can’t seem to do much right. Will the force be able to figure out what happened to Thomas? Did Jestyn and Aleksei play into this death of Thomas? How will these characters navigate their own loss of self while trying to do what’s right? Thomas is the famous Somerton Man who’s story went unsolved for decades.

Lauren has been working on this musical since January, 2023, helping Justin adapt it and edit it as director and the book doctor. Stay tuned for future productions.
